Palnat 125mg Capsule is a targeted therapy containing the active constituent palbociclib. It belongs to the group of anticancer medications known as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. It is used in treating hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor 2 negative advanced or metastatic (has spread to other parts of the body) breast cancer. Cancer is a condition in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. It is given in combination with certain other anticancer medications.  

The common side effects that are likely to associate with Palnat 125mg Capsule are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nose bleed, decreased appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of lips and mouth, changes in taste, dry eye, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Consult your physician immediately if you experience symptoms such as dry cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, as it could indicate lung inflammation. Use effective birth control during the treatment and at least three weeks after the last dose. It is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age.

Take Palnat 125mg Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication once a day at the same time with food. Swallow this capsule as a whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the capsule.

During Palnat 125mg Capsule treatment, it is advised to avoid grapefruit and its juices and preparations containing St. John's wort. It is recommended to use effective birth control while receiving treatment as well as for at least three weeks after the final dose for females and at least fourteen weeks after the final dose for males. This medication may reduce fertility, so discuss with the physician if you have any concerns.
