This medicine works by preventing the activity of proteins involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Do not take Pazinib 400mg tablet if you are allergic to Pazopanib or any other ingredients of this medicine. Before initiating the treatment, inform your physician if you have kidney, heart, lung, or liver problems, bleeding disorders, stomach or bowel problems, and thyroid problems. This tablet can raise your blood pressure. It is necessary to check your blood pressure regularly during the treatment. No dose adjustments are required for patients with kidney diseases.

• If you forgot to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, skip the missed dose if it is nearly time for the next dose.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Do not drink grapefruit juice during the treatment with this medicine, as this may increase the chance of side effects. Male patients with female partners with reproductive potential should use effective contraception during the treatment and at least 2 weeks after the last dose to prevent pregnancy. Take the tablet at about the same time each day. Your doctor will regularly do lab tests to check whether the medicine works for you.
